Beech class week 1 feather ticklers

🌳🌲 Beach Tree Class Forest School Adventure! 🌲🌳

This morning, our Year One Beach Tree class had an amazing time at Forest School! We started by bundling up in cosy layers to stay warm, then set off on a fun leaf hunt, exploring the different colours and shapes around us. Gathering in the fire circle, we talked about fire safety and the special rules we follow in the circle, and everyone shared what they loved about the leaves they found 🍂.

Next, we learned about spotting hazards and used red hazard flags to mark anything that might be tricky or unsafe in our Forest School area – staying safe while having fun!

Then it was time to get creative! We used clay to make faces on tree trunks, turning the woodland into our very own outdoor art gallery. The mud kitchen was a popular activity and the boys built a fantastic den. We also made leaf wands and feather ticklers to take a bit of nature magic home with us. ✨

To finish off, we gathered for a snack of hot chocolate and biscuits. It was a fantastic morning of learning, creativity, and adventure – can't wait for the next one!
