Week 6 Elm class campfire doughnuts

πŸŒ³πŸŽƒ What an amazing final Forest School session with our Year 4 Elm Class! After six weeks of exploring and learning, we kicked off today’s session with a pumpkin hunt. But these pumpkins had a twist—each one had a question on the back! The children shared their favourite parts of the Forest School site, discussing the best food we’ve cooked, talking about holiday plans, skills that they have learnt and naming their favourite animals, and even trying to name different trees and bugs! πŸžπŸ•·️

After lots of creative stick play, building mini habitats, and crafting magical forest wands, and dream catchers we wrapped it up with a real treat—campfire doughnuts! 🍩πŸ”₯ For many, it was a new experience, and it was so rewarding to see the children try food they’d never had before. A perfect end to an unforgettable adventure in the great outdoors!
