Week 4 Elm class acorns

Today, Elm Class had an exciting time at Forest School! We kicked things off by hunting for acorns and learning a fun science fact—if they sink in water, they’re good to plant; if they float, not so much! The kids were eager to test their acorns and see which ones would grow into mighty oaks.

We also got crafty by making colorful Paracord bracelets, and, of course, there was lots of running around. Star Wars games brought extra energy to the day, with the children channeling their inner Jedi!

As a perfect end to our outdoor adventure, we built a fantastic fire. Everyone gathered around to roast halloumi with rosemary and toasted brioche—a delicious treat that capped off a day of learning and fun in nature.

Forest School days are the best! 🌲 ❤️
